Dunbar Thanked the Symposium speakers: Bruce McEwen, Huda Akil and Mike Owens
Thanked Peter Cobbett, Keith Lookingland and Yvonne Will-Murphy as Co-Organisers of the meeting. 
Encouraged all to meet with exhibitors/vendors.

Cobbett Pointed out that Council had met several times over the year.  Also reported that there were172 registrants prior to the deadline and an extra 40 on site.

Lookingland Reported that the finances for the Chapter (before paying for the meeting) look very good (somewhat less than $9,000).
Comments on the presence of exhibitors/vendors and thanked the MSU Colleges of Natural Science and Human Medicine for financial support towards the meeting

Dunbar Comments on the Travel Award nomination process - deadline 5/25.
Comments on the Chapter Website. 
Comments on Brain Awareness Week.
Comments on CME Credits approved (for the first time) for attendees to the Annual Meeting.
Comments thanking the organization as a whole for efforts made to improve the Chapter’s activities and profile during his presidency.

Conducted elections for new Council Members: Treasurer, Secretary, Awards Chair, Councillors for Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Western Michigan University, Pfizer and Central Michigan University and Student Councilor.
